Senior Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Daniel is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). Daniel holds his Masters of Science in Animal Welfare and Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as CPDT-KA and CPAT-KA certifications . Daniel first fell in love with dogs and animal behavior when he rescued a Beagle-Corgi mix from his local SPCA when he was 10. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, he began working professionally with animals as a trainer for the United States Navy’s Marine Mammal Program, training Dolphins and Sea Lions for open-water military functions. Daniel enjoys working with dogs of all backgrounds, but has a particular affinity for working on behavior modification cases, including separation anxiety, aggression, and reactivity. In addition to his work with dogs, Daniel serves of the Animal Training Committee for the Zoological Association of America. From dolphins to dogs, Daniel loves harnessing the power of positive reinforcement to build trusting relationships and shape behavior!
